Internet frustrazione = Internet frustration

Well friends. The campsites have weak internet systems. Sorry. I'm sitting in an internet cafe in Florence. Yesterday we rode a train that topped out at 150 mph from Rome to Florence. Then the youth and leaders went to see Michelangelo's David. Most impressive. Dinner in Florence was varied. Some loved it, some, not so much. Regional differences in cuisine are interesting.

Today everyone is going to the Ufizi, the Cathedral (Il Duomo), the Bargello and the Ponte Vecchio. Joe is  taking the time to do an update. YAY!

Now, lots of promised pictures. This is a very small fraction of the photos being taken. When we are back we will have many of them up on a frame in the Gathering area and eventually put them into a book that can be browsed the old fashioned way.

Sometimes it is best to take a nice cab.

Actually the car was for a wedding photos near the Colosseum

Gladiators. Ah, the good old days.

This is the main door to St. Paul's outside the walls.

Sorry for the sideways pics. I can't figure out how to make them stay upright.

Under this altar are the bones of St. Paul - yes, THAT St. Paul.

I'll send another update as technology allows. For now. We are all doing well and grateful for your support.
